Do I need prior programming or AI experience to apply?
No prior AI expertise is required. We welcome students across all domains. Beginners will go through structured starter workshops and are paired with experienced peers in cross-functional squads.
Are there any membership fees involved?
Membership is RM30 per semester. It covers member access to AI model API tokens, cloud compute credits, and premium development tools so everyone can build without paying for costly personal subscriptions.
How will I know if my application is approved?
We review every application individually. You will receive an official update via your registered university email within 7 business days outlining your squad match and onboarding steps.
Can non-Computer Science students apply?
Absolutely. Modern AI innovation relies on multidisciplinary teams. We actively recruit students studying engineering, design, business, mathematics, law, and liberal arts.
What specific projects will I be working on?
Members collaborate in small teams building functional AI tools, fine-tuning open-source models, conducting algorithmic red-teaming, or preparing for national and international hackathons.
